Peace in the Clovers

Although both of these mallard ducks have the female feather pattern, the one on the right is male. I can tell that from his yellowish bill; the duck on the left has a grey and orange bill, a trait of female mallards. Once the duck on the right got older, he developed the usual feather pattern for males.
